How to find inner resilience
by simply paying attention
The course is based on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme, as first developed by the ‘Godfather’ of mindfulness, Jon Kabat-Zinn. For decades it has been used to help people all over the world to reduce stress and anxiety and live richer lives.
You will develop a greater awareness of your thoughts, feelings and sensations in order to become less caught up in habitual, often negative, response patterns. You will become more focused, aware, relaxed and present.

This is an 8-week course made up of weekly 2-hour sessions and an all-day retreat day. You will receive a comprehensive course manual and access to meditation audio tracks.
Each week you will be given homework assignments, including practicing the exercises taught in class. This vital part of the course will take 30-45 minutes per day and it is essential that you are able to commit to this in order to get the most from the course. You will learn to bring mindfulness into your daily life and the homework will help to embed the practices so that you can continue to develop mindfulness skills once the course has ended. This will ultimately be the key to lasting change.
Zoshia has completed her Teacher Training Level 1 with the Centre for Mindfulness Research &
Practice at Bangor University and teaches mindfulness to various corporate and private clients.
She is also a yoga teacher at The House of Yoga, teaching vinyasa, pre & post-natal yoga and yin,
in which she combines mindfulness and meditation with slow, deep restorative yoga. In addition,
she co-facilitates The House of Yoga’s in-house meditation programme ‘Find Stillness Within’ &
200hr Teacher Training Programme.
We will be running two groups. Please indicate on booking which group you would like to join.
Please note that you will not be able to move between groups once the programme has started.
Retreat day – Saturday 21st July 10am-4pm
Both groups will join together for this all-day retreat session.
