200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in London: Deepen Your Practice, Transform Your Life
If you’ve ever felt the call to explore yoga beyond the mat — to understand its depth, philosophy, and power to transform your life – a 200-hour yoga teacher training (YTT) is your natural next step.
At The House of Yoga in London, our 200-hour training is designed to help you grow, as a student, a teacher, and as a person. You’ll gain a comprehensive foundation in the art and science of teaching Vinyasa yoga, while experiencing your own inner evolution along the way.
Course Structure: Immersive Yet Flexible
Our London-based teacher training offers the depth of an immersive programme with the flexibility to integrate your learning alongside work, family, and everyday life.
The training unfolds over 8 weekends across 7 months, combining in-person studio sessions with guided self-practice, homework, and online momentum calls. This approach allows you to embody the teachings gradually, building both knowledge and confidence.
Each day runs from 8am to 6pm, blending practical learning with reflection, discussion, and personal growth. You’ll graduate having completed 200 hours of training, ready to teach, or simply to live with greater purpose and presence.

The Benefits of a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
While this training qualifies you to teach yoga professionally, many students join simply to deepen their practice and self-understanding.
You’ll learn to move and live with awareness, develop lifelong skills for emotional balance, and become part of a community of like-minded practitioners.
The benefits extend far beyond teaching, this is about confidence, clarity, and connection.
How to Choose the Right Yoga Teacher Training
Choosing a teacher training is an important decision, one that should feel aligned with your values and vision.
Here are a few things to look for:
Accreditation – Choose a programme recognised by Yoga Alliance (https://yogaalliance.org/)
Experienced teachers – Instructors who live their practice and bring both knowledge and integrity.
Supportive environment – A school that fosters personal growth, not competition.
Balanced structure – A programme that challenges you while supporting your everyday commitments.
At The House of Yoga Trainings, our faculty are experienced practitioners who embody the principles they teach. You’ll be guided with care, challenge, and compassion every step of the way.
What Comes After 200 Hours?
Once certified, you’ll be eligible to register as an RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) and start teaching in studios, online, or privately.
Many graduates also continue their learning through 300-hour advanced trainings, workshops, or specialisms such as Yin, meditation, or anatomy.
Others use the skills they’ve gained – communication, leadership, mindfulness – to enhance their careers outside of yoga.
